Maybe you've seen the signs along the side of the road pointing you North of the 210 Freeway to the newer development of luxury homes in Pasadena.  The signs say "New Luxury Homes - Estates Pasadena" and they point you towards the corner of Sierra Madre Villa and Sierra Madre Blvd near Eaton Canyon golf course in Northeast Pasadena. 

This development of luxury single family homes has been in the works for years.  Several of the lots were completed back at the time of the economic downturn.  For years there were several vacant lots that remained vacant and untouched.  Recently we've seen movement as the development has begun regaining momentum at a time where demand is high and supply is low.  The new grand opening is October 19, 2013.

  • In the past 12 months, the company has distributed $58 million in profit share to associates, a 33 percent increase over the previous year.

Below is a picture taken this morning of peacocks right outside our side door.  Several peacocks are walking around on our neighbor's roof this morning in Chapman Woods.   



When driving through Chapman Woods, it's not uncommon to see the peacocks resting in a yard, walking on rooftops or walking in the streets. 

It's said that the peacocks in Chapman Woods are coming from the Arboretum located to the East of Chapman Woods.  We've seen them sleep up in trees in our neighbor's back yard quite often.
